George is an Evangelist for Phoenix First
Assembly of God and Tommy Barnett of Phoenix, Arizona.
George and his wife Jan have lived in Turlock for one
year and are members of Harvest Christian Center. One
of George’s greatest passions is working with the
men of Teen Challenge of Northern California and being
a guest chaplain with the Stanislaus County Sheriffs Department.
He is a decorated veteran of the war in Viet Nam and has
just completed a book about some of his experiences there.
It is due to be released in the spring of 2009. Having
experienced some ups and downs in his own life he is just
finishing a book that will be an encouragement to others
who have found themselves on the side lines wanting to
get back into the game. George has experienced pain at
a very deep level. He has three grandchildren....but they
are all in heaven. However, his daughter is expecting
and will have a baby the second week of April. 2009 is
going to be a great year.

Joanne
Reese - "Cover Stories"

Joanne Reese discovered her love for
writing in the pages of her journal. Dozens of them line
her bookcase. Her journal entries and blog posts display
a unique and tender relationship with God.
Venturing beyond personal muse, Joanne has composed several
articles for her church's newsletter and has created Bible
study curriculum for home groups. Her articles have been
published on www.avirtuouswoman.org.
With years of ministry experience and a love for people,
Joanne has much to say about surviving life's broken path.
Directing groups such as Crisis Care and Women's Ministries,
Joanne has acquired a unique blend of experience and compassion.
In this season of her life, her husband and children sit
at the top of her priority list. Writing for publication
fills her heart and her mind, but only finds its way to
the keyboard as time permits.
